TH-VM is full open source, but is not free. We are doing this to support the development of TH version 2.0. All funds go to supporting new new version which we are very sure you will like. We will continue to support this version of Taskhopper and TH-VM and will continue to offer customer development if your IT group doesn't provide that.
We have published all the instructions on how to install it here and will continue to refine/tweak/improve as suggestions roll in. If you need help with this, of course we will do whatever we can to assist. While the install process is simple, it doesn't yet include an install package (something that you run from within Joomla)
