This would be the shopping cart side of your domain.   It's separate from the support side because you generally don't want to mix customers with the support staff.   Here you would promote whatever products you're selling in your Virtuemart shopping cart.    Just think of this as your normal Joomla/VM website.

All of the users that would be registered here would be customers.

This is a separate instance of Joomla, just for selling products.

(We have turned off the login module because there's really nothing to do here.  We've installed the demo products from VM and have created a handful of orders that you can see from the Support side.)

How it TH-VM works

1.  Customers order stuff like they normally would via your Joomla/Virtumart site

2.  You ship the order, like you normally would

3.  Then all hell breaks loose when customers get cranky.   You make a mistake, the product was damaged, they changed their mind...  and about 15 other things that make you want to rip your hair out... but, that was before Taskhopper VM came along.

NOW when they call you demanding whatever, you jump into the Support side of your domain and create a customer support ticket, pulling order # and customer name directly into your Taskhopper ticket.    

What does this give you?  

• an organized way to follow-up with customers
• a method to ensure things do not slip through the cracks 
• a way to keep a nice trail of what happens over the life of an order. 

Keep customers happy by knowing what they want, when they wanted it and best of all, when you provided it.   Also, when they call, you and your support staff will impress them to tears with your ability to recall every little details of their history.
